Jemur Terms of Use

Effective 16 October 2026.

Who we are

Jemur is made by OffstageApps, an independent developer based in Malaysia. By using Jemur you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Jemur is, and is not

• Jemur gives a verdict on hanging laundry outside (yes, risky or no) from weather forecasts, warnings and air readings. It is a guide, not a guarantee. Weather, and tropical storms in particular, can change quickly and forecasts can be wrong.
• Jemur is not a source of health advice. For air quality and health, follow the official readings and advice of your country's authorities.
• Jemur is provided as it is, without any warranty. To the extent the law allows, OffstageApps is not liable for any loss or damage from relying on it, such as wet laundry.

Data from other services

Jemur uses data from these services. Each is credited in the app, and its own terms apply to its data:

• Google: Jemur includes air quality data from Google, a Google Maps Platform service. Your use of it is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
• Open-Meteo (weather, CC BY 4.0) and CAMS, the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (air quality forecast).
• MET Malaysia, via data.gov.my (weather warnings, CC BY 4.0).
• AirGradient and its volunteers (community air sensors, CC BY-SA 4.0).
• The US Aviation Weather Center (airport weather reports).

Using Jemur fairly

Please use Jemur for your own laundry and planning. Do not copy its data in bulk, overload or interfere with its servers, or use it in a way that breaks the law or the terms of the services above.

Your information

How Jemur handles information is set out in the Jemur Privacy Policy.
